Privacy Policy

PXL SEALS attaches great importance to protecting your privacy. That is why we have adopted common principles in our Privacy Policy.

This privacy statement applies to the processing of your personal data when you—as a (potential) customer, supplier, or other business partner—do business with us, when you use our websites or apps, or when you interact with us.

PXL SEALS, SAS, whose registered office is located at 27 rue de l'Industrie – 01200 Valserhône, is responsible for processing your personal data. The purpose of this document is to inform you about how we use and protect your personal data, as well as the reasons why we process this data.

It applies uniformly to all services provided by PXL SEALS, it being specified that additional information may be provided to you, if necessary, in the case of a specific order.

We only collect and use personal data that is necessary for our business, in order to offer you personalized, high-quality products and services.

• Information necessary for shipping and managing your orders (delivery address, billing address, intra-community VAT number, etc.);

We do not collect sensitive data under any circumstances.

PXL SEALS may collect information about you even if you are not a customer. The list below (which is not exhaustive) provides examples of categories of personal data collected by PXL SEALS from non-customers, such as:

• Partner distribution network.

Personal data collected in connection with the services offered by PXL SEALS is processed in accordance with secure protocols and enables PXL SEALS to manage the data received in its computer applications. In order to fulfill the aforementioned purposes, we may disclose your personal data only to:

• Business partners,

• Financial authorities, judicial authorities, or government agencies, public bodies upon request and within the limits permitted by regulations;

• Certain regulated professions such as lawyers, notaries, auditors, and bailiffs.

V. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We keep your personal data for the longest period necessary to comply with applicable legal and regulatory provisions or for another period taking into account operational constraints. For customers, most information is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for 10 years after the end of the contractual relationship.

For prospects, information is kept for 3 years from the date of collection or our last contact with you.

VI. SOCIAL MEDIA CONNECTIONS

Our websites may contain various social media sharing features, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or LinkedIn buttons, which you can use, with our consent, to share information provided on our websites with the social media networks you have selected. Our websites may also contain links to our own social media accounts, such as our PXL SEALS Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn pages, which you may choose to use to post comments.

Similarly, various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn may contain PXL SEALS advertisements containing links to our websites. This is based on your searches or topics you have shown interest in, or when you have participated in our events. These platforms may, with your consent, share with us the information you have provided when you choose to follow a link to one of our websites.

The processing of personal information is subject to the privacy policies and practices of these other organizations. Please note that we are not responsible for the collection, use, and disclosure policies and practices (including data security practices) of other organizations, such as Facebook, Apple, Twitter, Google, Microsoft, or any other application developer, application provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer, including personal information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with our social media features and/or advertisements.

For this purpose, we process your name, email address, IP address, photo, social media contact list, and any other information we may have access to when you use social media features, such as liking the PXL SEALS page on social media.

We carry out these activities with your consent, to manage our contractual relationship with you, and/or because we have a legitimate interest.

 

 

VII. EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES?

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other site.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking tools, and monitor your interactions with this embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

VIII. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA ON OUR WEBSITES?

In order to allow us to make a relevant comparison of audiences over time, the lifetime of our trackers is 13 months and is not automatically extended during new visits.

The information collected through these trackers is retained for a maximum period of twenty-five months.

Visitors may ask us at any time to rectify, erase, or restore their personal data.

IX. USE AND STORAGE OF COOKIES

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and store certain information.

The information collected via our contact form on our website is stored in a computerized file on behalf of the PXL SEALS website by the host IONOS (in its capacity as host) in order to ensure the proper functioning of the PXL SEALS website. At no time may the host IONOS make any use of this personal data; only the PXL SEALS website may use it.

You can accept or refuse cookies. PXL SEALS will retain this information for a period of 6 months.

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is done for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your information again when you leave further comments. These cookies expire after one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out, the login cookies are removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.

The above-mentioned lifespans and retention periods are reviewed periodically to ensure they are limited to what is strictly necessary.

X. USE AND STORAGE OF YOUR METADATA

What is metadata?

Metadata is data used to define other data. This means that this data necessarily provides additional information about a particular piece of data. It can be described as the identity card of a piece of data.

Decree No. 2022-1327 regulates the retention period for metadata, limiting it to just one year.
